Fed: Rudd ministry to be sworn in today
The RUDD Labor government is being sworn in today.
KEVIN RUDD will become Australia's 26th prime minister .. at the swearing-in ceremony
at Government House in Canberra.
A meeting of the 20 new cabinet ministers .. 10 outer ministers .. and 12 parliamentary
secretaries will follow at Parliament House.
Then it'll be right into Labor's promised education revolution .. with two cabinet
meetings before Christmas to consider its computers and trades training in schools plans.
Incoming Deputy Prime Minister JULIA GILLARD's also promised that draft laws phasing
out Australian Workplace Agreements will be ready in time for the opening of federal parliament
in February.
