Shopping Services Enhance NBCi's Interactive Neighborhood

NBC Internet, Inc. (Nasdaq: NBCI), a leading Internet company connecting buyers to sellers through premier portal, entertainment, utility and e-commerce services, today announced major additions to NBCi's Interactive Neighborhood program (www.nbcin.com), a localized Internet content service that NBCi offers to NBC's owned and affiliated television stations, nationwide.
NBCi's Interactive Neighborhood program is a customizable service used by local NBC television stations to expand their local Web site content offerings by tapping into the broad-based portal resources of NBCi.
NBCi today announced multiple content and commerce agreements to broaden the set of services provided to local NBC TV stations. In addition to distribution on local NBC TV station Web sites, NBCi's Interactive Neighborhood local services currently are available to users on NBCi's Snap Internet portal and will soon be integrated into the new NBCi.com flagship portal launching in the Fall.

-- City Earthcams: The country's most beautiful cities are only a click away as NBCi Interactive Neighborhood focuses its constantly updated Webcam pages on cities across the U.S., powered by EarthCam.
-- Movie Showtimes: NBCi's Interactive Neighborhood offers a one-stop guide to the silver screen that features daily updates on showtimes for theaters around the country, photos and synopses of the movies users want to see, and the ability to vote for favorite films.
-- Civic Information: BestPlaces.net, the service known for powering "Best Places to Live" features, provides city profiles and statistics in such categories as housing, cost of living, crime, education, economy, health and climate. Users can compare cities by choosing any two cities and displaying their attributes side-by-side.
