Fed: Australian observers due in Zimbabwe
CANBERRA, Feb 23 AAP - A team of Australian election observers was due to arrive inZimbabwe today to help oversee next month's presidential election.
The Australians will be without the support of the European Union, which withdrew itsmonitoring delegation after President Robert Mugabe expelled the Swedish chief of theEU election mission to Zimbabwe, Pierre Schori.
The EU has also imposed targeted sanctions against Zimbabwe.
