QLD: Hamill may face censure motion
Queensland's stood-down treasurer DAVID HAMILL is likely to face a censure motion when
state parliament resumes tomorrow over his handling of the so-called net bet affair.
Mr HAMILL stood aside three weeks ago after reports that he'd granted the state's first
Internet casino gaming licence to a company linked to three Labor identities.
Independent MP PETER WELLINGTON has told ABC radio he'll move a motion against Mr HAMILL if
he's assured of support.
And Opposition leader ROB BORBIDGE says he'll meet Mr WELLINGTON before parliament sits to
plan tactics.
All three Labor identities have said they no longer hold shares in the gaming company, and
one -- government backbencher BILL D'ARCY -- has stood down as Deputy Speaker.
